For separated bearings, the installation process is generally simple as the inner and outer rings can be installed separately, especially for bearings with both inner and outer rings using interference fit. When installing the shaft, other components, and inner ring into the outer ring of the bearing seat, it is necessary to ensure that the inner ring is aligned with the outer ring to avoid scratching the raceway and rolling elements of the bearing. It is recommended to use some special installation sleeves when installing cylindrical roller bearings and needle roller bearings with or without a blocking edge on one side of the inner ring. The outer diameter of the sleeve should be equivalent to the diameter of the inner raceway.
